Western Technical College proudly delivered certificates to the first students completing their Early Childhood Education Certified Pre-Apprenticeship (ECE CPA) program— and we are thrilled that the very first cohort includes students from Tomah Area School District.
Launched last fall in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, this innovative program creates a direct pathway from high school to an Early Childhood Registered Apprenticeship and continuing education.
Designed specifically for high school students, the ECE CPA program provides early career exploration, industry-aligned training, and a seamless transition into post-graduation opportunities. Programs like this help strengthen the early childhood workforce right here in our region while giving our students a head start on meaningful careers.
We are incredibly proud of the Tomah High students who were photographed (with Sallie Braun from WTC) receiving their certificates:
Braelyn Turner
Karalee Nelson
Alyssa Krings
Nicole Robinson
Isabelle Guthmiller
Alexis Hedding
We are thankful for the partnership with Western Technical College and their commitment to creating opportunities for our students. Our students represented our district well, and we are proud and excited to see where this pathway leads!
