Tomah Area School District serves eight elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Our elementary schools include two choice schools: one with a 45-15 academic calendar (Lemonweir Elementary) and one Montessori elementary (Tomah Area Montessori School). Our district is unique in that it spans over three counties! We have four outlying elementary schools (Warrens, Wyeville, Oakdale, and Camp Douglas) that serve our youngest students close to their homes; our other school are located in and near Tomah.

Our Middle School and High School are centrally located in the city of Tomah within blocks of eachother. This makes transportation and transitions for our students easy!

Military Families: We are one of the two closest school districts to Fort McCoy and the closest to Volk Field. We are specially familiar with serving military families and would love to be part of your child's educational journey.  We work closely with the School Liason Officer located at Fort McCoy to smoothly integrate our incoming Military-connected families.

Native American Families: We also have a familiarity with specific rights and needs of Native American students and families as our district is richly immersed in the Ho Chunk culture and history. We have a Title 6 Director who acts as a liason and advocate for our Native American students.

We would love to discuss with you all our district has to offer!

Please explore our site and reach out to our district office with any further questions!
