Tomah Academic Decathlon is officially off to an incredible start for the 2025–2026 season! At their Local Competition on November 4, our team dominated the field, defeating Melrose-Mindoro, La Crosse, and Iowa-Grant.
Highlights from an outstanding day:
17 total ribbons brought home by Tomah students
Ribbon winners included Izzy Hilt, Zoe Pergande, Lucy Jankowski, and John Battista
Michael Zastoupil earned 2 ribbons
Madi McCabe collected an impressive 5 ribbons
Joanna Stryker led the way with 6 ribbons, including 1st Overall,
* 3rd highest Economics score
* 3rd highest overall Honors score
* TOP Math score in the STATE!
As a team, Tomah currently ranks 6th in Wisconsin as they chase a spot at the National Competition — a first in Tomah history!
