The Tomah High School Music Department recently held its annual Tri-M Music Honor Society Induction Ceremony, recognizing students who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in both academics and music.
The Tri-M Music Honor Society is a program of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and is the only national honor society for student musicians in the United States. With more than 2,100 chapters across all 50 states and 15 countries, Tri-M engages over 84,000 students in grades 6–12. Each year, members contribute more than 750,000 service hours and raise nearly $1 million for charitable causes — a testament to the organization’s mission of cultivating leadership, scholarship, and service through music.
At Tomah High School, fourteen new members were inducted into the chapter this year, joining sixteen continuing members from last year. These dedicated students will continue to share their talents and leadership with the community through music-based service projects. From performing at local events to welcoming guests at concerts and volunteering their time throughout the year, the Tri-M members embody the power of music to inspire and connect people.
Congratulations to all the Tomah High School Tri-M members for their continued excellence and commitment to music, service, and leadership!
