THS Volleyball Hosts Successful "Dig Pink" Night to Support Treasured Chests

The Tomah High School Girls’ Varsity Volleyball team, coached by Sarah Matthews, recently hosted a Dig Pink Night during their home match against Sparta on October 14th. While the scoreboard didn’t reflect a win that evening, the team truly came out as champions off the court—raising an impressive $627 to donate to Treasured Chests, a local organization dedicated to easing burdens for those in our community who are fighting cancer.

Representatives from Treasured Chests were present at the event, providing information and resources to those interested in learning more about their mission. A “Miracle Minute” between matches encouraged fans to donate, contributing to the night’s fundraising success.

Both the team and the crowd showed their pink pride, with players wearing special pink uniforms and the student section dressed in pink to show their support for breast cancer awareness.
