Tomah Area School District Welcomes Dr. Chai Lee as New Tomah High School Principal

At their June 13, 2025, special board meeting, the Tomah Area School District Board of Education approved Dr. Chai Lee as the Tomah High School Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. Dr. Lee will officially begin the duties as Principal on July 1, 2025.

Credentials & Experience:

Dr. Chai Lee is a passionate and experienced educator with a diverse background in leadership and instruction. A proud graduate of Eau Claire North High School, Dr. Lee pursued his undergraduate studies at Winona State University, earning a degree in speech and theater education. He continued his academic journey at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, where he received his Master of Education. He later earned a Doctor of Leadership and obtained both Principal and Superintendent licensure from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.

Dr. Lee brings a wide range of experience to Tomah High School. His previous roles include serving as an ESL Teacher, English Language Learners Program Coordinator, Instructional Coach, AVID District Director, High School Assistant Principal, and most recently, Middle School Principal. Throughout his career, Dr. Lee has prioritized building strong relationships, fostering positive learning environments, and guiding school teams through data-informed decision-making.
