Please consider joining us as an Adult Facilitator for our upcoming Rachel's Challenge Chain Reaction Days events for both our Middle School and High School students. This impactful program aims to inspire kindness and compassion within our school and community, fostering a positive culture change based on the life and writings of Rachel Scott, the first victim of the Columbine High School tragedy on April 20, 1999.
What is Chain Reaction?
Chain Reaction is a powerful, high-energy experience where youth and adults engage in experiential learning activities designed to: Increase personal power and self-esteem, Shift peer pressure from negative to positive support, and Eliminate teasing, violence, and all forms of oppression.
This program addresses critical issues such as social oppression, harassment, racism, conflict management, peer pressure, and more. Participants leave empowered to carry the themes of kindness and compassion into their communities.
Why Volunteer as an Adult Facilitator?
Adult Facilitators serve as positive role models and are essential to the program's success. Volunteers include parents/guardians, educators, administrators, police officers, elected officials, and community members. By participating, you'll connect with students in a meaningful way and help make a lasting impact. We are required to have one volunteer facilitator per 4 students, so the more volunteers we have sign up, the more students can be allowed to participate.
