Tomah FFA students Allison Maulsby and Caden Fravel were selected to attend the Next Gen: Power, Structural, and Technical Systems Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina, March 2–6!
This national conference, hosted by the National FFA Organization, is an application-based opportunity for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors from across the country. Only a small group of students are chosen to participate, with about 72 FFA members from more than 22 states attending this year’s event.
During the conference, students explored careers in power, structural, and technical systems through:
- Hands-on activities and engineering challenges
- Industry tours, including visits to facilities like John Deere Turf Care
- Roundtable discussions with industry leaders
- Networking with FFA members from across the country
These experiences help students develop employability skills, explore career pathways, and build a “road map” for their future before even graduating high school.
We are incredibly proud of Allison and Caden for being selected to represent Tomah FFA at this national event. The skills, connections, and experiences they gained will stay with them for years to come!
