THS student earns 1st Place at Monroe Country Land and Water Conservation Poster Contest

Congratulations to Morgan Swenson, a senior at Tomah High School, for earning 1st Place in the 10–12 Grade Division at the 2026 Monroe County Land and Water Conservation Local Level Poster Contest!

This year, a total of 133 posters were submitted from schools across Monroe County, making this an impressive accomplishment. Participating schools included Queen of the Apostles Catholic School (Tomah), Sacred Heart Catholic School (Cashton), Innovations STEM Academy (Sparta), Meadowview Middle School (Sparta), Sparta High School, and Tomah High School.

Students were recognized by the Monroe County Land Conservation Department, and several had the opportunity to attend the annual Stewardship Awards Banquet on January 24, 2026.

We are incredibly proud of Morgan for representing Tomah High School and for using her creativity to highlight the importance of land and water conservation.
