One of the core pillars for National Honors Society is service, especially when it is focused on benefiting the local community.
Our NHS scholars have worked hard all year on connecting and working for students and staff here at TASD, however their Spring Volunteering Event is an opportunity to benefit the community more directly.
Last year they completed a park clean-up and restoration at Fireman's park, but this year the students wanted to do something to bring community members together in a positive way and hosted a Spring Community Carnival! The community carnival was a huge success, and our scholars were ecstatic to have seen so many families come out and enjoy themselves.
Thank you to our NHS students and advisor, Mr. Fogerty, for thinking beyond TASD once again and pouring into the entire Tomah community! And thank you to all our community members who came out to enjoy the fun!
