It was a spelling bee showdown! Talented students from across our elementary and middle schools showcased their spelling skills at the annual District Spelling Bee on Monday, March 10th. From tricky words to impressive memory, these youngs scholars proved that hard work pays off!
To start off, each school held a school-wide spelling bee, sending forth their winners to compete together at the high school, going nine rounds before all seven winners and an alternate emerged victorious! We congratulate all the students who participated for their incredible effort! Students moving forward to represent Tomah at the Regional Spelling Bee are:
Mason Pulver
Aubrey Dulinsky
Preston Stryker
Jordan Dawley
Peighton Brand
Addison Lambert
Nathaniel King
Alternate: Emilee Scholz
Special thanks to our District Spelling Bee Coordinator Amy Langner (TMS Principal), our Pronouncer Arnie Andrews (Cow97), and our Judges Theresa Payne (Elementary Technology Integrations Specialist) and Manuela Hruska (TMS English Teacher).
