Tomah Area School District 2 Hour Early Dismissal on Friday, March 4th
On Friday, March 4th a Freedom Convoy traveling to Washington D.C. is scheduled to arrive in Oakdale between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. They will be traveling on I 90 and I 94. Current estimates suggest there could be upward of 500 semis in the area. Due to the logistical concerns and interruption to normal traffic flow, the district will have a two-hour early release on Friday, March 4th. This decision was made in consultation with Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and other area law enforcement agencies. Please note that after school activities will be held as normal.
Release Schedule by School:
- Camp Douglas Elementary - 12:45 PM
- Oakdale, Warrens, Wyeville, TAMS, and all in-town elementary schools - 1:00 PM
- TMS - 1:18 PM
- THS - 1:21 PM
- Speech Group will run on normal times today.
- Activities will be held as normal.
