Finance
The Finance Department responsibly manages district resources to support high-quality educational opportunities for all students. Through careful budgeting, financial planning, and a commitment to transparency and accountability, we work behind the scenes to ensure the long-term financial health of our schools and the community we serve.
Facilities & Maintenance
The Facilities and Maintenance Departments of the Tomah Area School District supports 12 school buildings and multiple support facilities serving over 3,000 students and over 450 employees across the district. Our team is dedicated to providing safe, clean, and well-maintained learning environments that support high-quality student learning.
To maintain these buildings and grounds, our staff works daily to ensure that classrooms, common spaces, athletic areas, and building systems are fully operational and ready to serve students and staff. Through custodial services, routine maintenance, and proactive planning, we help create spaces where teaching and learning can thrive.
Our responsibilities include:

Maintenance and repair of all district buildings, systems, and equipment

Custodial services to ensure clean, healthy, and welcoming learning spaces

Groundskeeping, landscaping, and athletic field preparation

Oversight of heating, ventilation, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems

Planning and management of capital improvements and facility upgrades

Coordination of construction projects and contractor services

Energy management and operational efficiency efforts

Support for community use of district facilities
Through a commitment to service, attention to detail, and long-term planning, the Facilities and Maintenance Departments help ensure that all district facilities remain safe, reliable, and supportive of student success.
