Message to Families of Tomah Area School District

Dear Parents:

Below is a very detailed and comprehensive document outlying information for you on how the Tomah School District is responding to the state-wide closure of schools and what we will be doing to provide instructional activities for your children at home, as well as library resources and meals.  Please read this document carefully.  This will not be the last you hear from us, rather this is just our most recent, most detailed communication.

Letter to Parents of Students in the Tomah Area School District

We know additional questions will arise and we have set up a communication tool on the District website for you to submit questions to which we can then respond.  Thank you for your patience as we have finalized all the details of our plan.  District administration has been meeting regularly on our pandemic plan over the last three weeks which has allowed us to be as ready as possible for the arrival of COVID-19 in our state.  We will continue to be in close contact with the Monroe County Health Department, our school district medical advisor, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services as we move forward.

Thank you!

Cindy Zahrte, District Administrator
