All district schools are closed and all athletic and co-curricular practices, meetings, competitions, performances, weekend events and community use of district facilities are cancelled. Student field trips and staff attendance at conferences are cancelled until further notice. All community organizations reserving buildings for events are cancelled through April 6. Future reservations will be reviewed as more information becomes available.
The Tomah Area School District is deeply committed to the health and safety of our students, families, and staff. Your questions, comments, and concerns are welcome.
With the pending Safer-At-Home order by the Governor and Wisconsin Department of Health for all Wisconsinites, we are modifying the drop offs of our Grab and Go lunches to decrease the need for people to leave their homes and become at risk for the coronavirus.
The drop off locations and times remain the same, but we will only be providing the Grab and Go lunches on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
All children 18 years of age or younger will be able to pick up TWO Grab and Go lunches on Monday (covers Monday and Tuesday) and TWO Grab and Go lunches on Wednesday (covers Wednesday and Thursday) and then ONE Grab and Go lunch on Friday.

Parents- If you have Infinity Parental Access and have not been getting emails or notices from school, your personal email or phone numbers may not be correct. Pictured are the steps to go through to check to make sure the TASD has your most up-to-date emails and phone numbers. Please share. Our teachers will be using the email and homework features of Infinity Parental Access regularly during this school closure. Thank you!
Below is a very detailed and comprehensive document outlying information for you on how the Tomah School District is responding to the state-wide closure of schools and what we will be doing to provide instructional activities for your children at home, as well as library resources and meals. Please read this document carefully. This will not be the last you hear from us, rather this is just our most recent, most detailed communication.
We know additional questions will arise and we have set up a communication tool on the District website for you to submit questions to which we can then respond. Thank you for your patience as we have finalized all the details of our plan. District administration has been meeting regularly on our pandemic plan over the last three weeks which has allowed us to be as ready as possible for the arrival of COVID-19 in our state. We will continue to be in close contact with the Monroe County Health Department, our school district medical advisor, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services as we move forward.
Cindy Zahrte, District Administrator
