Accessibility Statement

The Tomah Area School District is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all students, families, staff, and community members. We strive to provide an inclusive and user-friendly experience for everyone and are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website.

The District is actively working to comply with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as updated by the U.S. Department of Justice in 2024. These updates require state and local government entities, including public school districts, to ensure that web content and mobile applications are accessible to individuals with disabilities.

In alignment with these requirements, the Tomah Area School District is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA standards. Under the ADA Title II final rule, public entities are expected to meet these standards by April 26, 2027, for entities serving populations under 50,000, which includes our district.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are committed to continuous improvement. Our work includes regular website audits, staff training, and the integration of accessibility best practices into our digital content creation.
